Freedom Ministry Classes
“…where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.” (2 Corinthians 3:17) To live free, knowing who you are in Christ is the privilege of every believer. Freedom Ministry at ResLife is for everyone: those who are facing obstacles or overwhelming challenges and those who simply want to grow closer to the Lord. It is designed to help you hear and respond to God’s voice, identify and remove obstacles hindering your growth, discover your identity in Christ, live the life you were made for, and learn how to be an influence in the lives of others.
Freedom Foundation Classes
Wednesdays, Jan. 8 – 29 / 6:30 pm / Room 467-A
These four classes are the starting point of Freedom Ministry at ResLife. Each class provides part of a bigger picture that will challenge you to think differently and encourage you to walk in the fullness of who you are in Christ. No registration is required. To listen to audios of previous Foundation Classes, click here.
Class 1. Introduction to Freedom
God didn’t design us to be in bondage to anyone or anything. In fact, we were created for freedom. But what is freedom? How do I become free so I can live the life I was made for?
Class 2. Lasting Change
Our attempts at change often fail because we try to change for the wrong reason, change the wrong thing, or we use the wrong tools. This class helps you grab hold of God’s provision for changing your life from the inside out.
Class 3. Hearing God and Your Identity
God speaks, and the Bible makes it clear that we are able to hear Him. Learn to hear Him more clearly and receive the full impact of communicating with the God who loves you!
Class 4. Identity and Life in the Kingdom
Each of us was designed to be defined by God and Him alone. As we walk in our God-given identity and in the freedom Jesus came to give us, we will take ground for God wherever we go!
