Host an International Exchange Student
Volunteer host families needed for Byron Center, Wyoming and Grandville Public Schools. We are looking to place many International Exchange Students for this upcoming fall school year (2008-2009). For example, I have a 15 year old girl who is from South Korea who is from a Christian family. Her interests are singing, ballet and running. Volunteers Needed
Loveís TREASURES, a ministry of Love In the Name of Christ, is in need of volunteers for a half day or a whole day to sort, price, arrange or display items. Also needed are volunteers to work in the clothing sorting areas any week day. Volunteers are also needed to help in our warehouse areas. Training is always provided. Special Requests
Love INC has a special request for some large menís clothing. If you know someone who has some of these clothes to donate, could sew them or know of any means of obtaining them, please contact Nyla at Love INC, 616-662-3300 ext. 103. The items needed are dress pants 69îñ70î waist ñ 32 inseam, Big & Tall dress shirts ñ 20î neck size (5X-6X), a belt 70î waist, pocket Tís, sweatpants and underwear.
Guest Services Volunteers
Guest Service Volunteers for Sunday, Saturday or Wednesday evenings You would direct guests to various locations in the church and answer questions.
You would help 1/2 hour before the service and 15 minutes into the service.

Connection Partners

Bread Ministry
Help distribute bread and pastry items to families in need. These items, donated by local retail outlets, are distributed after Sunday morning services in the Ground Floor concourse.

Correctional Ministry
The ResLife correctional ministry makes weekly efforts to reach the lost and hurting people in the prison system of Michigan. We minister the life changing power of God through preaching the Word, sharing testimonies of Godís changing power, discipling former and current inmates, mentoring inmates, encouraging through correspondence, teaching through Bible studies, ministering through music, and ministering to children of incarcerated parents through Angel Tree.

Food Pantry
Help provide food for individuals and families in need. We supply one week of groceries for qualified people in need. We participate with 6 other churches in the area serving people in this area. Stocking pantry, bagging groceries are some of the ways you can volunteer in this area.

Friendship Class
The Friendship class provides a loving and caring environment for children with special needs, ages 0 -10 years, enabling them to worship and be taught the love of Jesus. If you have a heart toward special children please consider becoming a part of this ministry.

Gatekeepers/Parking Lot Ministry
God blesses everything you put your hand to do. Join our awesome team and help direct traffic in the parking lot of Resurrection Life Church. Our parking lot is the first impression that visitors have of our church. We strive for excellence in helping people to and from their time of worship.

Helps Ministry
Be one of the first people to touch peopleís lives as they attend service. Help direct new guests throughout the facility, answer questions, and provide information. Weíre looking for smiling faces to assist as hosts, greeters, guest services assistants.

Nursery/Preschool ñ Noahís Ark
Help us raise up the next generation! Weíre dedicated to loving children and helping them begin a lifelong process of serving God! Class time begins with playtime and then evolves into a structured time of praise, storytime & age appropriate lessons. We end with a snack and crafts/coloring.

PowerHouse Innercity Kids Ministry
PowerHouse ministers to children in the inner city, providing an exciting Bible-based program for kids. This ministry takes volunteers outside the walls of the church and reaches directly into the communities around ResLife and into the lives of children who may never have felt the positive influence of Christ.

Prayer Partners
Be one of the first to pray with and encourage new believers. After people respond to the altar call, our prayer partners go with them to the Prayer Room to pray for their needs and give them some basic information.

Student Ministries
Sow into the lives of our children and youth. Work with children age 5 through seniors in high school. We have various opportunities for greeters, sound technicians, teachers, musicians, classroom assistants and gym leaders.

We seek to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You can serve the church by assisting others in finding a seat in the Worship Center, helping with the offering, and just being quick to help others so they can enjoy the experience of worship and hearing the Word of God.

Walking by Faith Video Department
Walking by Faith offers television programs focused on sharing Jesus Christ with the world. All programs are recorded and edited here at church using some of the best equipment available so they can be viewed by millions each week across the globe. Various positions are available and training is provided.

Walking by Faith Telephone Prayer Team
The Prayer team prays with viewers who call our toll free number in response to the Walking By Faith television program, as well as make follow-up calls to people who are newly saved or who have contacted us. Choose a day and time that fits your schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday: 8:30am ñ 12:00pm or 6:30pm ñ 8:30pm; Sunday: 8:30am ñ 10:30am. Training is provided.

We are always looking for people with hearts for worship and who love to sing. Requirements: Three rehearsals & regular attendance for two months.

Womenís Ministry
Womenís Prayer Group
Come and pray with us. Youíll be glad you did! We have a great time with the Lord. Meets Thursday mornings. No childcare.

Warehouse volunteer needed
Love INC has a few openings for volunteers in our warehouse ministry. Volunteer positions are available for half days or whole days one or more times a week. You will be trained. If you have a half-day per week to serve the Lord at Love INC, please contact Jason at 662-3300 ext 115.
