This position is responsible for conducting groups for adult substance abuse/criminal justice clients. The clinician is required to conduct assessments, complete and file documentation, provide individual counseling, and complete discharge plans and summaries. Groups may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), substance use disorder, mental health, life skills, re-entry planning, etc. Master’s degree in human services or criminal justice field required. CAC preferred. Experience with criminal justice, mental health, substance use disorder, and personality disorder populations. Knowledge of group dynamics. Must be a skilled communicator with highly developed written and verbal skills. Previous experience conducting groups for adults including substance use disorder and life skills, completing assessments (ASAM), and treatment planning. Computer skills required. Must be willing to work afternoons and evenings. Must have strong skills in assertiveness.
