After graduating from high school, Todd Peterson played football for the U.S. Naval Academy and the University of Georgia. During his senior season, he was named an Academic All-American, led the SEC in field goal percentage, and earned a place in college football history as the Georgia Bulldogs finished the season ranked 7th in the nation. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Banking and Finance, Todd was accepted into law school but the NFL came calling!
His strength of character and personal integrity continued to be recognized by his peers as he was honored with the following awards:
As his NFL career brought him to different communities around the country, Todd and his wife, Susan, have used their influence to improve the lives of others by investing in local charities and businesses.
Since completing his NFL career in 2006, the Petersons and their 2 children make their home in North Atlanta. Todd now serves in a strategic initiative within the Maclellan Foundation to catalyze generosity and strategic Kingdom investment. He also sits on the Board of Directors for Pro Athletes Outreach and for The Wycliffe Seed Company.
